The sad truth about puppy mills. What happens to puppy mill dogs?

Puppy mills don't care about the health of the mother either. They are bred every season until they are four or five years old, receiving little or no veterinary attention, and are given only enough food to keep them alive.

Then when their bodies are so worn down that the puppies are almost always born dead, the mill owner will then kill the dog either by starvation or shooting it, or bludgeoning her to death, since she is no longer an “effective producer.”

Money is all that these people care about!

This 9 year old Yorkie was rescued from a puppy mill.  Her bottom jaw was broken on both sides in the very back near the joint.
She was unable to move it.
This poor little soul had to be put to sleep.
This is photo of a beautiful Yorkshire Terrier (rescued from a puppy mill). She is totally blind from 8 years of living below another cage, where urine and dirt constantly fell on her and her puppies.

The above photos came from www.puppymillrescue.com (USA)

At Ferragme's Yorkshire Terriers, once a dame reaches the end of its breeding life, she is retired to become a member of the family or placed with a loving family to adapt as one of their own. Ferragame's have NEVER and will NEVER "put down" a dame once she is retired from breeding.
